What is involved within this course?
The key subjects – effective maintenance; its need and process. Surface condition; health and safety to users, plus more – are studied through a progressive one-day IOG Learning course. Delivered by industry experts; the IOG, Replay Maintenance and Redexim Charterhouse. Keep your skills up-to-date and maintain your 3G pitch with the latest, best practices. In addition, you will also receive a Certificate of Attendance. (Food and drink are provided). 

What does the course content cover?
Some of the key subjects:
• The need for effective maintenance practices
• How to carry out effective maintenance practices
• Requirements of an annual maintenance programme
• The need to provide a duty of care to users
• The need for routine testing of pitch performance

This learning route will support and help develop skills for those who maintain or are to soon gain a 3G surface to look after. This course is worth 5 CPD points / 5 CPD hours.

What can I do after this course? 
To further build on the IOG route and depending upon your requirements, undertake the Level 2 Certificate in Turf Surface Maintenance, the Level 3 IOG Technical Diploma in Turf Surface Management – or Level 3 IOG Supervisory Management – providing formal qualifications in different aspects of turf management. These qualifications may be beneficial for people who have completed other courses at Levels 2 or 3 and who wish to further develop their understanding of the technical aspects of turf management or leadership and management skills. No practical work is involved with these qualifications.
